07/05/2005: "Yay! We got our Visas! And other stuff!"
FINALLY! I was still very worried until the passports arrived at our house this Saturday! I jumped up and down for a minute or two! Now onto other preparations....
Here is what we've gotten for the trip:
Immunizations...fun stuff
Yellow Fever (M & K)
Typhoid (M & K)
Hepatitis A (M & K)
Hepatitis B (M)
Meningitis (M)
Tetanus (M & K)
We also both got anti-malarial tablets (I'll be taking Malarone, Mike's got Doxycycline), Cipro, tons of Immodium, and clean syringes (hopefully we won't be needing these!).

We each got some funky looking safari pants (zip off legs). Mine are that BugOff mosquito repellant fabric. Mike got some Permethrin spray for his. We both got some brown walking shoes, and Mike got a spiffy khaki button up shirt.
