Today was the day of lions!
While we searched and searched for cheetah and leopard (coming up dry...the closest we got was the spotted Salvol Cat), we continued to see lion after lion. Most of them were sleeping, so they didn't prove to be too interesting.
On another note, I walked into our dark bathroom BAREFOOT tonight and closed the door. When I flipped the light switch, there was a tarantula sitting between me and the door. I just about freaked. I yelled to Mike that there was a huge spider, and he didn't believe me (I hate spiders, so any spider is BIG in my view). Well, actually, this one WAS big. It wasn't a full grown tarantula, but it was definitely a tarantula. Mike came into the bathroom to save the day, while I hid in the shower. He threw a towel over the critter, and jumped up and down on it. It was nasty. Needless to say, before going to bed, I made sure my shoes weren't on the floor. :)
